Founded by a passionate outdoor enthusiasts, Wild Kat Adventures was created with one goal in mind—providing kids aged 4-12 with safe, active, and inspiring adventures that nurture curiosity, build confidence and resilience.
From our early days, Wild Kat Adventures has grown and encourages exploration and learning in a natural setting. We believe that every child deserves the opportunity to experience hands-on outdoor play, and this vision has shaped every aspect of our programs. Whether it’s biking along scenic trails, exploring local forests, or engaging in interactive nature activities, we design our events to spark joy and instill a lifelong love of the outdoors.

About Wild Kat
Hi, I’m Kath.
Growing up in Australia, sport and outdoor adventure were part of everyday life. They sparked a passion that has stayed with me ever since—and one I love sharing with children.
As a qualified PE and swimming teacher, I’ve spent more than 30 years working with children, including 10 years running summer camps in Switzerland. I’ve seen how being active outdoors can bring children together, build friendships and help them discover what they’re capable of.
My approach is simple: get to know each child, encourage their curiosity and give them room to try. Whether they’re learning a new skill, working as a team or picking themselves up after a setback, every adventure is a chance to build confidence, resilience and independence.
Every child brings different strengths and needs. I adapt my teaching and coaching to help each one feel included, supported and proud of their progress.
Above all, I want children to have fun, feel good about themselves and leave camp with skills and confidence they can carry into everyday life.

Founded and led by Katherine Lyon, a qualified PE teacher and swimming teacher from Australia with over 30 years of experience working and teaching children. 10 years experience running Summer Camps in Switzerland.
👥 Small Group Ratios
We maintain a 1:6 to 1:8 adult-to-child ratio to ensure every child receives individual attention and stays safe during all activities, from forest adventures to lake paddle boarding.
⚡ Safety First
Complete risk assessments for every activity. Life jackets provided for all water activities. Emergency protocols in place. We carry a first aid kit at all times and have mobile phone coverage on all excursions.
🌎 Expat-Friendly
100% English-speaking camp with a welcoming atmosphere for international families. Many of our campers come from the expat community in Lausanne, Pully, Lutry, Morges and beyond. French-speaking children are also welcome and activities are translated into French when needed.
